Congrats to the LSU Defense for their improved and inspired play. With Bama giving up 227 yds to Mizzou, the LSU defense is ranked No.1 in the SEC for 2014.

Who would have thunk it????

Well Lacour its a FACT, sorry if that FACT offends you. Just as you bash the offense, why not give kudos to a job well done for the Defense, are or you just a miserable person all around????

It's on average

We were #1 before the SECCG, but if Alabama held Mizzou to a real low # they would have taken over the top spot

How is mere acknowledgment of the fact that our D greatly improved throughout the year and ended up statistically the best in the conference "for the pumpers"?

frick you have to be the worst poster in TD history.

Thanks Vermilion for clarifying that. I knew LSU was No. 1 GOING into the game with Bama-Missouri. Just think it's amusing when people come on here and bitch about the offense yet REFUSE or CHOOSE to ignore the great accomplishment of the Defense.

If you want to find "effieicency" stats for the 2013 offense to make up for the weak defense from last year, you have to find "efficiency" stats for this year's defense, seeing that our plodding offense would piddle around each drive in hopes of attempting a field goal. The defense played very few possessions the last 5 games of the year.

the two things are related. Why take risks as an offense when you probably only need 11 points to beat us?
