The guy that has killed me the most so far is easily the executioner guy off to the side of the first staircase in central yarnum.

After you go down the staircase not long after the central yarnum save point, the group of guys is going towards the fountain with the burned monster. If the go the other way, where the guys come from, there are a bunch of boxes to the left when smashed show the executioner guy.

Ok Spider boss is hard, get him down to a third of health and he gets me.

I have had issues with him. The only one I haven't had an issue with with Darkbeast Paarl. But the BSB is a pretty simple tactical fight.
By the point you fight him, you should have found some armor that is poison resistant. Switch to that. Stock up on antidote.
In the actual fight, if he attacks with his right paw in a swipe or if he gets on his hind legs, make sure to blunderbuss him and he can be attacked with a visceral attack. When he starts spraying poison everywhere, molotov him the rest of the way.

Buddy of mine came over to drink after our intramural game and I started playing. He asked if he could play (shocker since he doesn't like games). He gets owned by pig in forbidden woods. We laugh and he tries again. Stumbles upon Shadow of Yharnam. Kills it.

I know that its early for me, but these have been really easy boss fights compared to previous souls games IMO.

For previous Soul players maybe, but I got fricked up by the CB probably 20 times or more just getting the whole concept of the game down.
Priest was probably about 5.
BS Beast was probably about 10, and I summoned the white cloaked hunter and he made it real easy.
I'm just making sure my vitality is waaaaay up before i get into the next big boss. I've put most of my upgrades into that and have switched between stamina, strength, and the occasional skill.

I've never played any of the DS games so I have a noob question. Is the whole game one giant level that I'm free to explore from the start? I'm afraid to wander off too far bc I don't know why or where I'm going.
