Do you see it more as Les favoring Jennings
Jennings beating out Harris
Harris not taking time to learn playbook
or other

If Harris isnt ready by next year, the coaches will need to seriously evaluate what they are doing wrong.

To everyone thinking that AJ wont be the starter if Les is still here... have you not paid attention to the loyalty issues over the last, i dunno, decade?

AJ will continue to start... we will continue to dominate in run game only... we will lose 3-4 games.

to be fair,

Jamarcus was better than Flynn
Flynn was better than RP
Mett was better than everyone

And JJ and JL both sucked equally.

That being said i will just be all kinds of made if Jennings starts next year, and will completely agree with you.

You, I, and the rest of the world can think that Harris is the better QB (not saying that I do). However, the decision as to who starts/plays is one person's and one person's alone.

There are times that Les's decision making absolutely frustrates the shite out of me, but I don't think he is in the business of intentionally trying to lose games. He plays the guys who he thinks gives his team the best chance to win. We may not always agree. He may not always be right. But that is the way it is. Deal with it.

They'll try to get him into the game, but the opportunity won't present itself.

nobody needs your facts here.

okay, so maybe i got carried away. But my gut instinct tells me that AJ will start the first 5 games next season. BH has to prove to the coaching staff a lot more than AJ has to lose to the coaching staff.

What if, and it's a big if I know, AJ really improves in the offseason? What if he proves in games that he can provide an above average passing attack? Would we accept him?

Have you not paid attention over the last, i dunno, decade? NUMEROUS true Freshman have played at LSU over the last several years. Obviously they were playing ahead of upperclassmen to whom Les should have been "loyal" to. Hell, just look at this year. LSU had a bunch of returning DLinemen on the team. Despite that fact a true freshman started nearly the entire season at DT. There were several times last year that Les started 2 true freshman CBs over two guys that had played a lot of snaps for this team (Mills and Collins). Fournette got the most carries this year over two seniors who, if your assertion is correct, Les should have been supremely "loyal" to.

Maybe, just maybe, he and the coaching staff in practice and game action didn't see Harris perform as the 4 time All-American the fans projected him to be.

Bitch about his offensive philosophy/approach all you want (I'll certainly agree). But to say he has a "loyalty" problem with certain players is asinine

The fact is miles played jennings this year because playing harris could have led to a 6-6 type record as he learned. Miles knew he couldnt have a 6-6 season without feeling major heat so he played jennings and got 8 wins.

Harris?

I think he should've started every game from auburn on. I dont really care about missing out on a meaningless bowl if it helps the future but im not the coach so.
