I'm not really familiar with Louisiana high school football, but with Jesuit winning the State's highest classification State Football Championship I'm wondering if they have any D1 talented players?

Not necessarily LSU targets, but guys getting D1 looks?

Any seniors committed to D1 school?

Underclasmen to watch?

Foster Moreau may get a few offers beyond Tulane. Fluid TE, good receiver, needs to bulk up.

Charles Jackson has speed for days, but is small. I would like to see him find a spot.

First of all it's not Louisiana's highest classification. 5A is the highest classification in louisiana. however in the private school league, it is the highest classification. Big difference between the 2

not really.

Rummel and Jesuits and a lot of those school were 5A before the split. We just don't have enough to field 5 divisions.

Neither do public schools, but that doesn't stop them from having a Division 1A with 0-10 teams in the playoffs

QB Trey LaForge has drawn interest from Louisiana Tech, Northwestern State and Holy Cross, an FCS school in Massachusetts.

TE Foster Moreau has D-1 offers, but I'd be willing to be he ends up at Louisiana Tech

Lipscomb is a 2016 sleeper for D-1 offers, but I'm not seeing anything huge.

RB Charles Jackson should play somewhere. He's a senior, but I don't know much about what interest he's drawn. Wouldn't be surprised to see him walk-on at Tulane.

Jakirai Wiley will play somewhere. He's had interest from UL-Monroe

He was the best player on the field in almost every game I watched them play. I hope he picks up a decent offer. Dude's an animal. I didn't come away from the games seeing anyone else stick out that much.

That is completely opinionated. Plenty of kids all over the state in public schools including #1 Rashard Lawrence.

It's pure ignorance. That argument could have been made years ago but right now the best teams are public.

if that was the case we would not have a split... someone would beat Curtis in the playoffs, and someone would beat Calvary in the playoffs...

0 titles before split.

Also, the Catholic league had 1 title in 5A before the split, actually occurring the final year. Private schools didn't dominate the state the way they want you to believe they did now that there's a split. EVANGEL and JOHN CURTIS dominated. The rest really didn't do much of anything.
