The deadline for season ticket holders to pre- order bowl tickets have come and gone. But I received an e-mail today saying that I can still pre-order and that all pre-ordered tickets will either be club seating or lower level seating.

I did not pre- order since the bowls that LSU are projected to be invited to are conflicting with my out of state travel during the holidays to visit the family.

I did not pre-order because those arse-hats always put us way at the top, and I can get them for cheaper/free by asking around. Done with LSU ticket office on that crap..... #sorryforbeingpoorandnotdonatingmoremoney

just look at prices of these mid-level bowls

looking at $150 for lowers to texas bowl

for 2002 Sugar Bowl, i bought lowers on the secondary market for $125

many of these bowl are overvaluing their shitty product

You can order for all bowls and just get tix to the one lsu is picked for. The ticket office is dumb because they think ppl will pay full price for a taxslayer.com bowl ticket.

i get 4 tickets to the sugar bowl every year as a sugar bowl tie in, not through lsu. Been doing it for 10 years, if lsu doesn't go then i sell them.

The pre-order form includes all the bowls. You check off all the bowls you would be interested in attending.

When LSU sent me a reminder email that the deadline was approaching, I replied with "not ordering bowl tickets."

Haven't heard back from them.

Mediocre season = mediocre bowl.

People can claim LSU fans are spoiled, but the glut of bowls out there today have killed their value for all intents and purposes. In the end, people aren't willing to shell over significant money to watch a mediocre team play another mediocre team.

Can you blame the fans for not being excited about the bowl game? Regardless of which bowl we are sent to, it will be 3rd tier and LSU will have a very difficult time selling it's ticket allotment. We might have a decent fan showing if we go to the Texas Bowl, but that's mostly due to the close proximity of the host city and the fact that LSU has a strong alumni presence there.

Outside of BCS bowls it's cheaper to get to better seats on secondary market than what LSU allocates.

This. College football fan bases have been taken for granted for far too long.
