was that mett, beckam and landry worked out together in the offseason. they worked on timing routes, etc and it really improved their timing in the season. they converted a hell of a lot of 3rd downs using these timing routes and it made a hell of a difference. this year, we didn't have that.

let's hope that harris will put in some extra time working with our receivers this off season. he has the arm to hit those timing routes.

It has nothing to do with the fact that they were recruited hard and have the talent to be rookie starters in the NFL.

I think it has more to do with Mett's trust in those guys. He just threw a lot of those up for grabs and they would go get it.

AJ could practice with his receivers all day every day for several years, but it won't make a big difference. Not meant as a bash but just to point out a major flaw in the op. Mett last year was 3x better than AJ ever can be.

I typically agree with you, but there were numerous tweets in the offseason with Harris working with the receivers....well, receiver...Avery Peterson-Johnson was posting almost daily it seemed.
