other than 30rd mags. What other high capacity mags do they make? 40 or 50? If so what is a good place to get some. Friend of my dads is looking for a few. Thanks
also who has best deal right now on the 30rds?

I have a Surefire 60 round that is very reliable but very heavy. I keep a bunch of 30 rounders loaded and ready to go but use my 20 rounders more than anything.

Might not be the best place but I have always gotten mine from cheaper than dirt. They normally have some good deals on 30rnd mags not sure about the larger ones. Also it is a good idea to have some 5 rnd mags if you ever intend to hunt during deer season with the rifle.

Surefire makes a 60 and 100 round mag.

There is no magazine capacity restriction when deer hunting in Louisiana.

They have 30's & 40's at Cabelas. Magpul brand.

Jeez. That's a damn good deal on a 10 pack of pmags.
The issue with very high capacity is weight. The 60 rd. surefire is heavy, so just imagine how much a fully loaded 100 rd beta mag weighs.
In my opinion it's mostly novelty. Not very practical.
