Is Les the best out there, no I don't think even the biggest Les fans will try to sell that. But honestly who is out there that LSU could realistically hire that would come in and win 80% of his games?

With the talent on LSU's roster, I think a lot of coaches could come in and win big. The kicker is whether or not the guy could recruit like Les and keep bringing in the talent.

When Les was hired did you say "YES.........frick YES!!!! Best possible coach out there and we landed him.....YES.... frick YES!!"

A just above .500 coach came here and won 80% I think LSU will be just fine if Les finally moves on

How many games did Urban Meyer win at UF? How did Muschamp do?

What did you say when les was hired??? If you're a pussy and think LSU will crumble bc Les leaves then that's a you problem! LSU will be just fine with out him.

Sure they will be, doesnt mean they will be any good ones.

Since Charles McLendon, we went through 8 coaches in 24 years. Since Miles, we had 1 in 10 years.

You guys are seriously fooling yourselves.

How many coaches can consistently bring in top 3 recruiting classes? Lsu doesn't just recruit itself. We have a damn good thing going with bringing in talent and there are maybe 3 people better at it than our current coach. I'm not completely against everyone moving on if that's the route les and lsu go, but let's not pretend that were just going to plug some guy in who will automatically improve the program to an even higher level.

Whenever I really think about i always list a few criteria

1. Young
2. Moderate success maybe at a lesser school
3. great recruiter
4. SEC ties
5. Maybe some roots southeast we can use to recruit out of state

then i realize i am describing Dabo Swinney and i curse to myself.
