Does anyone personally know any FSU fans?

I have one friend that is an FSU alum, and he is super defensive about this whole thing (Jameis, Tallahassee police, etc.). It makes me look back to the Penn State situation, when everyone was calling them a cult for covering everything up and then defending Paterno.
I honestly think that college sports are so important to people that any of these fanbases will defend their school irrationally. The whole Penn State cult was a fun story. But I think it's a sports problem in general. People need to take a step back every once in a while.

I went on Saturday. Without trying to sound holier than thou, it was kind of weird to see so many kids wearing Winston jerseys. Like you would think their parents would not be wanting their kids using him as a role model.
And some drunk sorostitute was giving us shite on the walk out of the stadium and when we made a comment about Winston being a rapist she said she loved rapists and wished he would rape her.
They're just all blissfully unaware.

To be fair she was definitely too drunk to be in public so she was probably spewing bullshite but it was still a pretty memorable thing to hear.

Yes. I know a few dozen. I've talked to over a dozen about it and they are to a person very bitter, defensive and annoying about the entire thing. Their vitriol against just about anyone not pro fsu is very fun to troll.

Wife and both daughters graduated from Florida State. They really don't care much about football. Have many buddies that are Florida State fans it's 50/50 split on how most of them feel. I think Jaboo is just a very dumb kid. Jimbo is the real piece of shite and always has been.

I went to FSU and am a huge fan.
I think Jameis should have been kicked off the team this summer after he stole the crab legs. That was like the 3rd or 4th incident involving him.
The entire Florida State disaster shows exactly where our priorities are as a society where we allow entitled athletes to do whatever they want as long as State U is winning.
Florida State is hardly the only institution or fan base who is this way.
And certainly won't be the last.
