There are a few smoking hot ones I've known, to be sure. But in proportion to other larger schools (especially SEC schools), they are way behind.

Does Tulane party harder or does New Orleans? Hear me out, if Tulane exploded the New Orleans party scene wouldnt miss a beat, and the students could transfer to UNO and the parties would stay the same. If LSU blew up about 95% of BRs bar scene is straight dead

Pretty much this. If you look at the 'metrics' they used to rank the schools, Tulane got a 9.9 for nightlife. Clearly basing that on the location rather than the school as a single unit.
