It has dropped under $34 this morning. This board has discussed AT&T in detail in the past. It provides a consistent, high dividend of roughly 5%/$1.84. If you're looking to get into it, now may be a good time.

I think there will be continued pressure on this sector as t-mobile and sprint fight for market share. Sprint has recently advertised to buy you out of your contract, and cut your bill in half on December 5th. Incentives like this will only create pricing wars. I don't think sprint, t-mobile, or any of the other smaller carriers will climb to the top, but I think it will force AT&T and Verizon to cut prices impacting their profits in the near future. Just my 2 cents

I honestly think it will go lower. As mentioned above the other providers are in a war right now and AT&T is steadily loosing customers.

And that sounds like a great deal until a phone user actually tries to make a cell phone call using the Sprint network. At least in Baton Rouge. Their coverage and stability of connection is just tuurrible....

I'm already in and continue to be positive concerning AT&T. I am following and will consider buying more if the value appears to be there.
