Well I was judging it by that criteria. I felt it was a step below other similar establishments. The sauce was not good at all.

They used to have a location at Ohio State because Cane's does so well up here.

But it was meh. So is Cane's.

I think I liked Zaxby's sauce better but it was a long time ago.

The only thing worth it at Canes is the toast.

Serious question, does ones taste buds for chicken fingers change as you age?

I don't find Cane's nor Zaxby's as good as I did in my early - mid 20's.

When someone starts serving chicken fingers out of thigh meat I'll participate. Until then I don't eat chicken fingers.

I have the idea of serving "chicken wings" with different sauces, etc. using bone in thighs.

It's pretty much the best of both worlds IMO.

That's the worst idea I have ever heard. [Langland steals idea.]

Same.

Therefore I much prefer Zaxby's because they have more on the menu.

I don't eat that horrid sauce at either place.

I'm 24, and I have disliked Canes as long as I can remember

I used to tolerate it.. then just didn't care for it much.. now it KILLS my stomach. It always smells good, but I cannot eat it without feeling sick.

And I dislike the goopy mayo sauce even worse. The rare occasions I happen to be eating chicken tenders, I like honey mustard with them.

I had Zaxby's once, and I don't really remember much about it at all. I do remember being glad there was more variety on their menu than Canes.

Zaxby's seems to be the most widely inconsistent fast food joint I've been to. Some locations are very good (relative for fast food chicken). Others are steaming piles of garbage.
