I always hear/read LSU fans griping about how your offense sucks, but yet I keep reading posts on this board where your fans are either generally worried that he'll go to Michigan with Miles (should that happen) or hope he'll be retained by the new head coach. Are you blaming Les for the offensive woes or is Cameron simply getting a pass?

Cameron is in no way getting a pass. He caught most of the heat from the Arkansas game. That said Cam has a proven track record with QBs and most LSU fans would like to see what he can do with the young offensive talent on the roster.

because our fans are idiots. Everything that goes wrong is Miles fault, everything that goes rt is because of Saban, Chavis or whoever the OC is.

for the record i dont recall LSU quitting. I do recall some missed opportunities to put points on the board though. Making that arse quit would be like in 2011 when petrino acted like a child and wouldnt shake hands. Then going into a mid life crisis fricking females he hired, crashing his motorcycle, and completely embarrassing himself and the university leading to you guys having to be further embarrassed with that joke John L. Smith.

My biggest fear is that Miles goes to Michigan and Alleva promotes Cameron to head coach

Frustration and out of patience regarding both but Cameron gets a bit of a pass due to two reasons: first, he has only been here two years; second, his offense produced last year.

Les has zero credibility with offense. None, nada, zilch.

We run the same 6-7 plays no matter who is OC. The offensive abortion is on Miles.

Im fine with cam going with Les to michigan. The only coach I feel like the next coach has to keep in place is Frank Wilson.

This wont happen. Alleva was dominated by daddy dale during the basketball search. There is no way Alleva is going to be making this hire on his own. He will do as the money tells him, and I doubt our big money boosters love cam right now.

I posted something similar to this early this morn...

after all... one could see this coming if you watched Michigan's record over the last 4 years..
except, I questioned as to whether Miles brought Cameron in anticipating this possibility ??

Chavis did a good job fixing the D. I wasn't happy about his love for DJ early and how bad we looked. However, he fixed it. I don't think we need to saddle the next coach with saying these two have to stay. I do think a smart coach would realize Wilson is a must keep because of his recruiting. If he wanted to keep chavis then so be it.

Cam did such a good job developing Mett and handling the offense last year, that this year is just a head-scratcher. We've seen a lot of conservatism over Miles' career with 4 different OCs, so it's pretty natural to lay blame at the feet of the common denominator.

Assuming Miles and Cam hang around (and they likely will), next year will tell the tale. If a QB steps forward and the offense gets into gear, it will confirm what we thought about him last year. If not, we may be looking at Crowton 2.0. I am strongly leaning toward the former, though. We shall see.

Would Cam be a candidate for the UM HC job, if Miles turns them down?
