Acorns apocalypse - anyone else experiencing constant acorns hitting the roof (Posted on 12/2/14 at 8:23 am)00
I live in Southdowns with some oak branches hanging over the roof. This year, it seems like the acorns are falling and hitting the roof\porch at constant pace throughout the day\night.

I have lived there for about 7 years and cannot recall when I have ever been kept awake with these frickers constantly hitting the roof throughout the night and keeping me awake. Its the part of the roof above my bedroom.

damn no wonder we cant find any damn deer

You know, you have to actually "hunt" sometimes when the ole foodplot and corn isn't working out for you..

shite I haven't been on a food plot in weeks. Climber and hand ons. But it doesn't matter nothing but does on food plots. New place so I cant stalk here yet.

Try experiencing this with an overloaded white oak with acorns only slightly smaller than golf balls. Most I've had on this tree in the 10 years I've lived here.
