Anybody hunt Cat Island WMA in St.Francisville and pick up a gun?

Someone left a Browning Maxus on the WMA when loading up after a hunt. They returned an hour later and it was gone. Ive been tasked with trying to find it and figured id put the word out on here. If anyone here knows of someone that picked one up, the owner would like to get it back.

Wouldn't the chances of you ever finding it (without someone being honest and turning it in) be less than B$B winning the powerball? Given the nature of some LA 'hunters' I'm going to go with someone got a free gun for Christmas.

If you have the numbers you could sit there one weekend and check everyone going in/out.

There was one found today in a game reserve . I'm not sure where at but the guy just posted it in north louisiaba man cave on Facebook

I think it's been located. This makes 2 guns I've heard of getting lost on a WMA this year that got returned to their owner!

I have no problem returning lost items. I have a problem with LEOs checking my guns.
