He seems like a likable easy going guy and players want to come to play for him thats makes him a great recruiter. With that being said it seems like the players are to relaxed at times and that they dont fear making mistakes because you won't see Les chewing them a new one on the sidelines or at practice. LSU has had some good ones while at LSU but most seemed self driven: peterson, beckham, landry, honeybadger.I believe LSU has become the easy fast track to the NFL. Players seem to come to LSU to do their three years of required service leave early then apply themselves when the have to in the NFL for their paycheck. Hell i dont blame them which would you prefer a laid back boss or a demanding one? I believe alot, not all, of Alabama's players burn out in the NFL is because Saban demands excellence from them in college. When they get to the NFL they are like hey all this money and my coach isnt on my case for everything. Just seems their are not many players coaches at the top of their fields except maybe pete caroll. Les is Les there is nothing that will change that but that is the double edged sword we will have to live with while Les is the coach at LSU.

Really? So you've never seen Les get on a kid in a game or in practice? I could take time to sort this out but you're obviously too dumb to understand what's going. Where do you idiots come from

Most practices are closed to the media and public, so we have no clue how he handles practice.

miles may not be a screamer but if you frick up in a game your PT is severely curtailed.

and maybe he is a screamer at practice. you would not know this cause you aren't allowed at practices. I do think you are correct but then I can't go to practices either. also, he has asst coaches that can scream.

Nick Saban is the only coach at any level of football who demands that his players play well. All you have to do is yell at your players to be excellent and you'll win championships. It's so simple I wonder why no one else has caught on.

Les being a players coach is what put him in the debacle of JLee/JJ. His best defensive play makers wanted JJ, his best offensive players we torn. He didn't want a race torn locker room so he played JJ. That is what happened to cost him is perfect season. Then the guys he appeased couldn't stay clean to play the next year or went pro.

Look man, players like to win, period. If they win, then they live and swear by the coach.

Lack of discipline continues to plague LSU in critical games. Dang....enough with the dead ball penalties and loss of control. In the end, the head coach must bare the blame for the losses.

Bottom line....a Nick Saban coached Bama team owns LSU. How many losses to Bama since Saban took over?

Live with it!
