Would you trade a couple more losses this season for getting BH ready for 2015?

Or was BH in no way ready to start at all at any point this season and putting him in there would have only meant irreparable psychological damage?

From what I've seen from BH in the super limited time he's been on the field.

Jennings would have never seen the field for me, as we've taken 3 lumps (AU is on BH) with him

Yes to your question. But I think we may lose one or two games this year instead of four if we gave him the reigns from the get go.

Maybe we only have 2 losses if he would have been starting while he was preparing for a championship run for 2015! Should have been redshirted no more than he played or benefitted fro m playing. Im sure he was promised playing time during recruitment or he would have redshirted.

Yes in a heartbeat. Why not prepare Brandon for next year? So what if you drop another game or two.LM dropped the ball on this one big time

Hell no! Could you imagine this board had LSU lost six or seven games?

Whether Harris was getting ready for 2015 or not the fan base could not handle that many losses

Sure it could, no one sane would have been ready to fire Les this year, 4 losses or 6 losses, didn't matter.

Next year is the year to determine that.

Also, I'm not sure how anyone could think we definitely lose more games with Brandon in there.

No, but I think that if he would have played all year we could have won the same amount of games, if not more.

Hell no. Is it fair to the other players to prepare for the future during some of these guys Sr year? Some of you people are mentally retarded.

It's silly though, because LSU may have actually won more games with Harris. I don't see any games that QB play determined the winning outcome.. but I do see games like Mississippi St that could have been different given a different approach to start.

Harris had one bad start,, but aside from that he not only has been the more talented guy, he's been the most productive with the offense..

JT Barrett of Ohio St lost to VT at home, but then became nearly a heisman candidate since..

Absolutely Harris should have had more of an opportunity, and now I fear next season we will be in the same exact situation with Jennings getting the nod due to more "experience" Ughhh

I really like LM but feel he is taking wins over development of QBs which started last year leaving Mett in on lopsided victories.

He likely has legitimate reasons for not playing BH if felt unready, but a one dimentional team is doomed from the start. What a waste of talented receivers.

I agree with the statements made that his development early on would have worked out better than our 8-4 record, even using 2 QBs.

Absolutely. Harris is the only hope that this team has to compete for championships over the next two years. His development has been delayed a year while the 2014 class has burned a year of eligibility. If he starts next year, he will need half a season or more to settle in and we could lose a couple of games while he is learning.

After 2016, the 2014 class will start leaving and it doesn't look like the 2015 class will have the depth of talent needed to plug those holes.

If Jennings starts next year, then 2015 and 2016 will be wasted and 2017 will be a rebuilding year. Les will have wasted one of the best recruiting classes LSU has seen in years.
