I thought this maybe was their best game in a couple of years. Ignore the garbage scores by the Steelers at the end. The game was never in doubt. The Saints handed the Steelers their arse at Heinz field.

I'm not sure I agree with

But I definitely don't agree with

That needs to be addressed and I have full confidence that Sean will. A good coach and staff can always find areas that need improvement, even in victory, and this would definitely be one, IMO.

I walked out of the room for a few minutes at the very end and missed the Steelers last touchdown, but I walked back into the room as they were completing the 2-point conversion with 0:00 on the clock and the score was 35-30.... I walked in right as the receiver caught the ball, looked at the score, forgot what it was when I walked out and literally said to my wife "what the frick, did the Steelers just win 36-35!?!?!?!"

Then I realized they were just converting a 2-point play and that I was a moron.

But for a second there, it totally seemed plausible that the Saints had coughed it up.

We won and I was happy, but we looked like pretty much the same team I have seen all year.

First two good passes of the game were dropped by Toon and Colston. Then at least three dropped interceptions by Patrick Robinson. Leveon Bell runs wild, but the Steelers forgot to hand off....And by the way, thank you Ben Roethlisberger! Player of the game for the Saints.

On the plus side, Cameron Jordan made a play or two against a backup tackle and Kenny Stills played really well. I was also happy to see Payton try to stick with the run game.

Cam Jordan made a play or two?

He was all over the field in this one, he was outstanding.

He tipped a ball and intercepted it. I think he got a rush on the QB a couple of times. He also made a good downfield tackle. That is what I recall. Did I miss something else that stood out?

Getting a tip and int is a pretty huge deal for a DT. He also had another batted ball where he just rejected Big Ben as he went to throw.

1 Int
1 Sack
4 QB Hurries
3 Batted Passes
1 Stop

That is a pretty damn good game

He's a DE, but he's pretty successful in any spot on the line you put him.

Likely his best game of the season. That is a great stat line.

You are right, he did make a few plays. At any rate it is good to see him come alive.
