Goodell should publicly censure those Rams players with their "don't shoot"

gesture.
For one thing, we should be free of political statements when watching an NFL game. For another, it was an insult to law enforcement in the St. Louis area.

While I do find political messages annoying, as long as they are willing to pay the fine coming there way what are you supposed to do?

Why were you watching the Rams vs Raiders?

I have an alternate proposal: maybe he should not do that and let it drop, instead.

I think they should allow it.
It helps identify the TPOS for the fans so the whole league isn't clumped together as a whole

Fixed because I had fun watching to see if the Raiders would give up 50 before halftime.

Nah, that'll only make things worse. Just move on.

Rams officially said "no punishment pending".
And I don't know why anyone really cares about 5 players of 52 "making a statement". They have no more influence on the situationthen Rex does.

This applies equally to Bob Costas' pontifications on political hot topics like "gun control".
THE WHOLE NFL FINE SYSTEM IS POLITICAL COMMENTARY.
Politics has taken over the NFL and is causing me not to care much any more what they do.
