He/she also says they are unable and can't afford to take a loss on the tickets but they will give them away if it's family.

No he said he forces his friends to pay his idea of "face value" when he invites them to come to the games. So not only does he force his friend to pay the value of the ticket, he scalps them as well for the extra $25

I've learned to not let internet piss me off (most of the time). I'll be more than happy to sell next year's preseason games to ChadBoi and the others at the full price, you know, since that's what they're worth. Any season ticket holder knows that you figure the price per ticket based on 8 games or else you are giving charitable donations. On the other hand if you want to sell for the market value, then you sell it on TicketExchange during preseason and pull in 2-3x's what you paid for it. Given that the market value is dropped due to poor play this season, I accept that I won't get my paid value in return so am willing to take a loss. Other than that I am just letting the interwebbers interweb and have their funfest. It's all good

those seats are nowhere near where mine are. For mine they are going for $150-$220 range, which is nuts.

Ticketexchange is a better indication of going rates though. I find stubhub to get a bit crazy. On TE they are in the $100 per ticket range. It's just with the season going the way it is, resale isn't a good option right now.
