Was there no duck hunting this past weekend for certain zones in Louisiana?

This may seem like an ignorant question and I apologize, but was there a halt on duck hunting this past weekend for any part of the state?

no zones were closed but on certain WMA that were doe rifle this weekend no waterfowl hunting was allowed. a spot i hunt was clsed due to doe days with rifle being open. i had a buddy confirm this with ldwf as well. it was slow at our lease..seems like the ducks are gone from rice fields..

Ok, that's what was going on...had a friend tell me some people he knew were told to pack it up over the weekend and we couldn't figure out why with the third hand info

Fished this weekend because it was easier to do around the family/ holidays with everything we had going on.
Made a late morning trip but birds were sparse.
