A buddy's son killed a nice buck this weekend. He told me how his son always rides his bike right to the stand. Any of yall do this? I usually walk most of the way.

I walk.. Have driven to the stand and killed deer before, but I am confident that the chances of killing that monster are better if you walk.. Hunted public land in Kentucky, we rode bicycles cause of the long walk/no atvs..

I either park it under the stand or very far away. It depends more on where I'm hunting than anything.

I don't think I've ever not ridden the four wheeler to the stand. Everyone parks them right under the stand where we hunt

I like to get dropped off a ways away from my stand and walk the rest. We have to get driven to our stands because we don't have four wheelers and its too far to walk.
I hated when I was younger and they would drop me off right at the stand. I had to get them to stop because I knew it was too loud.

for morning hunts I drive to the stand. for evening hunts, I park it about 80 yards away and walk in case I creep something in the food plot.

In the last 25 years I can say I have never cranked a 4-wheeler during deer season on a property I was hunting for any reason other than to retrieve a dead deer from a terribly remote place.

Ride part of the way but walk the last several 100 yds in.

I walked to mine this afternoon settled in and heard my daughter blow by behind me on the ranger with Katy Perry blaring on the way to her stand.
Just glad she's sitting in a stand I guess. We'll work on the details.

I haven't yet, but I have thought about it
I know a guy that does though, hunts public land that does not allow motorized vehicles and he hunts a good ways back. He doesn't ride all the way up to the stand though.
I'd get a fat bike if I did

I try to walk a good ways in. Usually park 300-500 yards from the stand and creep in. I don't really hunt in boxes though.

I don't think I've ever drove a 4 wheeler or truck all the way to the stand. That just seems odd to me.

I've only done it to retrieve deer or put feed out. We were limited on bikes when we started hunting so someone would have to be dropped off or park in the middle of where we were hunting and meet back after. When I got to where I could just park the bike as close as I could, I'd usually park on the main road close to whatever stand I was hunting, but even that would make me feel lazy

When the logging roads and turn rows are dry enough we ride bikes. Quiet is better.
However, during late season when everything is nice and soggy we take the atvs in and usually park them a couple hundred yards away and down wind of the hunting areas.
I have parked my three wheeler directly underneath the tripod or box and threw some branches over it. Deer didn't seem to notice it.

Off topic, but i never understood referring to a 4 wheeler as a "bike". Bi refers to two as in a bicycle with 2 wheels. I know it's common, but I just don't get it.
We always had pretty solid main roads and kept all vehicle traffic to there. Never had a reason to even have a 4 wheeler. I used to drive my shitty nissan altima to the lease on dry days when I was 16. Walked anywhere that the car couldn't get to. All stands were several hundred yards from the main road.
