It is totally the defenses fault the offense managed 17 points against Dallas and 10 points against Cincinnati. All the pick 6s and game crushing turnovers are the defense's fault too.

The offensive and defensive issues are separate. Thats the point. Rob Ryan deserves to be fired.
The offense is almots annually top 5 in the NFL.

Cleveland which put them up 17-3
Tampa which put them up 24-13
Ravens which put them up 24-17

And haven't a lot of Drew's ints been in Saints territory also?

Tashaun Gipson (CLE) 2nd quarter
Danny Lansanah (TB) 3rd quarter
Will Hill (BAL) 3rd quarter

I did not even include all the soul crushing interceptions that gave the other team a short field.

The defense is bad. The offense is bad. There is no excuse for the offense to be as bad as it is.

If I was a betting man, I bet working under Payton is no easy task. He sucks this year and is taking out his frustrations on the D coordinator.

This. I'm grateful for our success with Payton, but I have no doubt he's a jackass to work with.

I love how I was challenged to show more than 1.

And yes many of his interceptions have led to points for the other team in addition to the Pick 6.

It looked to my like Jason Garrett hated Rob Ryan when he was in Dallas as well.

There is no shame in loving your team, but some people need to take the blinders off in here.

Saints, just like the falcons, aren't doing great on either side of the ball. Don't let yards fool you. One problem with the Saints have been turnovers. Also, going for it on 4th down in the redzone instead of kicking fgs and getting the points.

I didn't have a problem going for it on 4th and Goal against Baltimore. I had a problem running the ball right up the middle like they were expecting.

As long as Drew throws for 4800+ yards he can throw 18 INTs (with 6 pick 6s) and everything will be great.

The real sad thing is either Atlanta or NO will win this sorry division, probably with a losing record, and everyone for that team will forget the miserable season and

Maybe we should hope for Atlanta to win the division so you maybe keep Mike Smith

The saints have been ok on offense, just pressing too much.

The D has been horrendous. There's no comparison.

They defense sucks b/c they are paying Drew Brees way too much money and because they've done horrible in the draft

Our D has been underperforming for sure given the talent.

Brees will likely restructure and we'll go after a second corner(which we badly need). Our Oline woes haven't helped him either.

The D has actually out performed the offense in spurts this season and ryan's scheme was bad in the first half or so of the year.

Lol. Payton blaming defense for not stopping people when Brees consistently leaves them in horrible field position and on the field the whole game. Lol

Poor field position? The Saints defense gave up 99 yard TD drives two weeks in a row.

There was a lot of jawjacking last night, but when they got the key stop (in the 4th), they had a fist bump.

They cool.
