Looking at what Barrett as been able to do at OSU where struggled initially but came into a very capable QB, do you think Harris could have done the same if he was given the opportunity?

I think if you arent willing to take your lumps with a new QB, they will never develop.

Crazy knowing if Harris went to OSU his other finalists he'd prolly be a Heisman candidate

Trayvon Harris showed why true freshmen don't play often

5*'s means nothing. If he didn't show the coaches enough in practice to over take the worst qb in the last 15 years at LSU then he just doesn't have it yet. He may be a Rohan that takes 3 or 4 years to "get it". But we need a qb NOW

Wouldn't you say Brandon Harris as a better skill set than Treon Harris and more equivalent to Barrett. I just think if BH would have been given a "real" shot that this season might be a little different

based on what, NMST? or this MSU defense in garbage time that Bo wallace hit up for 31 points

You do know that Jennings played against NMST and MSU also, right?

Can't base it on anything as he really wasn't given a chance what is just my point. Now if BH does in fact win the position next yr, then the first few games will be a learning experience for him because he really didn't have many meaningful snaps this yr.

Nope. Harris doesn't know the offense, and doesn't care to work and study to know it.

Yes he wasn't given a chance at all. At the very least he should have got a snap or two. Maybe even a start at Auburn but that's Les. Redshirt city.

You call those meaningful snaps?!?!. I will give you MSU because he turned them into meaningful snaps but we all know he went in to mop up. He should not have started at Aub, Jennings should have started and Harris come in in relief where he could watch and get a feel for the hostile environment. But yeah, be a smart arse and claim all the snaps BH got as meaningful

. We have a winner!... Rumor has it Harris has a BIG head and thinks he doesn't have to work hard... Coaches are not happy with Harris's work habits... They think he needs to come back down to earth...Les Set up Harris to fail at AU to prove a point....
