I hear you!

The ones I get are usually part of a sampler from CI.

I'm the same with my Vintage Rocky Patels.

I get all of mine in a CI sampler. Unfortunately, I can never make myself smoke the ones from samplers when I get low. I'm not really sure why. I can always get more. I keep a box of s couple of go-tos, but really need to start smoking my sampler cigars.

I know you already know this and I apologize for saying it.

They were made for smoking. They may get milder after a period of storage in the box, but eventually you need to smoke them.

Oops, I'm an idiot in this thread.

I read 5Vegas as five cigars.

Anyway I was thinking you would smoke five tonight, leaving you to

Dang I'm dumb.

So did you have your 5Vegas yet?

I'm enjoying a Romeo y Julieta now watching the sun set.

not to ruin anyone's likes...
but you should try fresh, hand rolled cigars if you can...
a lot of the marks (brands) were rolled from 1 year to up to 8 years ago. They are kept in a warehouse where they are usually fumigated every 3 to 6 months.

FWIW.
but if you are enjoying some of them,
continue... it is about enjoyment

I took in a monti 2 last watching some football. Sadly I was also doing some work I brought home. What RJ did you have?

The 1875

I think I enjoyed it too much. Empty stomach and a cup of french press coffee as my pairing. I was a little queasy when I got up.

I like that cigar though.

I'm growing tobacco in the back yard, and I've hired some Dominicans to roll it for me (can't get Cubans).

Until the process is done, where might one find such products?

Yes I had it last night. 5 Vegas Cask Strength. It only made sense to me to pair it with the Maker's Mark Cask Strength. WOW!

I chugged a bit of apple juice straight out of the container then filled a big LSU football souvenir cup with water and drank that down.

Nearly instant cure.

I got the idea for the juice from some wise sage here on the TD. I apologize that I don't recall. My best guess would be Martini or MD.

It's better to drink it along with the cigar. Orange juice was the recommendation. They explained the chemistry to me, but I forget.
