We have the XC90 and love it

Only problem is access to the rear row

I am looking at the Lexus LX and GX and I like the GX better

4Runner and GX are rwd,

The GX is full time 4 wheel drive. It also has a 3rd row (electronically raised and lowered) if that's important. Do NOT buy a 2014 Volvo. The 2015 (16?) redesign is brand new from the ground up and will be much better in every regard. And their resale value sucks. Are you willing to go CPO? The Lexus GX460 from 2010-13 can be had for a decent price and with a warranty until 100k miles.

In case it wasn't clear I'm a huge fan of the GX. It's nearly identical to the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado sold in other countries. They're both nearly indestructible. I hate that you have to use premium gas in the GX but otherwise it seems like a bargain.
