How could one be cranky after a win like this?

I'm been wrestling with this emotion for a while. Most of the wins we had this year (save for ole piss) had me feeling the same way. But I still should be grateful for the win, right?. So why am I cranky? (pause for the shallow rantard slams...).

I don't view myself as a Jennings or Harris supporter. I'm kinda waiting to see how that plays out in 2015. Personally, I think Harris gets the nod and miles is just waiting for Jennings to fail. Didn't happen this week. Maybe he'll surprise us all.

What's got me a bit irritated though, is that while he had an ok game, his start was pathetic. 2 complete misses on simple routes, and the turnover. All in the first 5 minutes. With all of the pressure on him to get this crap fixed, you'd think he would have been drilled to death on the first 10 or so plays so that he could make those throws cold. Yesterday he goes out and one after another spits the bit. So either he didn't put the work in to enable him to come out of the gate flawless (yes, repetition in practice will fix that!...it may go downhill after thatl, but that's why you drill the shite out of the first few series), or he's really that rattled by pressure. Don't know.

Anyway, The collapse so many expected never came. And now we wait a little longer to figure out who gets the nod in 15. Maybe Jennings is the guy, but if he is, I hope he works hard to make sure he performs better out of the gate.

I am genuinely happy for the win and hope we get a good bowl

I'm not gonna lie, I enjoyed watching one game this season. Wins and losses don't even necessarily determine whether I enjoy a game or not either. Of course I'd rather a win but good lord we are hard to watch. I feel totally unfulfilled this year. Oh well time to move on to other things.

As of now, I agree. Don't see anything changing. No coaching Or qb change. So I need to get mentally ready to get behind Jennings...I'm cool with that. I'm just asking the dud to work a little harder and not come out of the gate flat. I mean the fans were doubting him, so wouldn't you work your arse off to prove them wrong? I just don't get coming out of the gate as flat as he did

Men with low self esteem need "their" team to win, so they can have vicarious success. When it doesn't happen they need to find a single individual to blame it all on because they can't admit that the team got beaten. So they blame an offensive coordinator, a QB, or a head coach.

Either that or the cranky guy is very young and is still kind of stupid.

Either way, at LSU fans have become so accustomed to being in the top five that these low self esteem people have transferred their self importance from other sports teams, politicians and political parties, shock jocks, etc, to LSU. and now they're in great pain.

Either that or I'm just full of shite.

If anyone actually believes Harris will ever get a shot as long as Jennings is Miles' starter, they are dreaming because Miles' history is all the evidence you need. Until Miles changes, then nothing will change on offense, and since Miles will not change, we will be the same ole same. Have a great day!

Why do people have cankles?

Mostly poor diet and lack of exercise, I'd imagine. I'm no doctor.

I think the fans just realize that although it was a win it was nothing more than a battle to not be last place. LSU is big time football and that is unacceptable. Les needs to search every JUCO in the country and find a QB. This AJ and Harris scenario is way too similar to Lee and JJ. All LSU needs is a game manager like Alabama has always had.

Walking should help the cankles.

I guess that was a bit of a Freudian slip....but pretty appropriate nonetheless

No reason whatsoever to be cranky...Tigers went 8-4 as everyone expected, Tigers had issues on offense as everyone expected, Tigers grew throughout the year as everyone expected, and Tigers appear to be poised for good things in 2015-2016.

Lots of ups and downs this year, as expected, but there's really no reason to be overly pessimistic about the future. we'll get better next year, let's just let it play out and see how much better we get.
