Thinking about running down tonight. Will all of the restaurants be booked with Bayou Classic fans?

Actually many of the better restaurants are not booked at all. Bayou Classic folk aren't filling up Le Foret.

I wouldn't do it, but if I did, I'd stay Uptown.

How old is OP?

Personally, I would stay away from places college kids might go as they are all home for the weekend. Also, with bayou trash, I would not enter the quarter or downtown. So uptown, mid city, or your favorite neighborhood bar.

I'm sure glad I have better things to do with my time where this would never be an option for me.

Op is 40...ish. Not looking to party just find a good meal at a casual place with a few friends

Pretty much anything uptown that you would normally go to is fine then. The Quarter/CBD will be the only place that will be slammed.
