People like you give this board a bad name. LC is a stud and we would've been blessed to have him.

Not true at all. LSU's issue is the person throwing the ball. Speedy wouldn't do shite in our pedestrian passing game either. Speedy is nice, but not on another level compared to our top 3 for sure.

Unless you ask him to cover the vertical pass. He will be another Saban safety in the NFL that can support the run but can't cover; see Laron Landry and Mark Barron for starters.

This means something. Oh wait, no it doesn't. Plenty of Bama players are overdrafted due to their head coach.

Speedy has dropped more balls in one game then our guys have all year. Do not remember which game it was, earlier in the year. And do not even try to compare his situation vs LSU. Two different offenses. He IS a very good athlete and best of luck to him.

He is a good athlete but those comparing him to Odell need to stop. This guy has more drops this year than Odell had his entire career at LSU. Speedy has been underwhelming to me this year. I live in HOuston and have watched A&M all year with my eye on him specifically. He's going to be an above average SEC WR that has a good return every so often, but nothing more. He doesn't sniff Jarvis or Odell's area code.

But yes, he was jawing with the LSU guys all night.

Looked the other way around to me... our dbs are always talking trash after every incomplete pass. Speedy could have laid it on thick after schooling White on TD... looked like he just walked right past him.

Speedy made a great catch over White. Simple as that. He's a great athlete. However, he has a ways to go to be consider a great WR. They even commented on it last night. Palmer said most of his routes are either short screens or straight down the field. He doesn't really run other routes too well and he doesn't block well on the outside.

Don't forget all the drops too.

You're an idiot. Straight up. You mean that one play that he beat Tre. That 1 play. White shadowed his arse all night. He had 4 for 30 and a nice catch. If Jason Verrett from TCU shut down Odell, then what do you call 4 for 30. Domination. Period. And that's why he just walked away. Plus the fumble. Speedy and Tre are friends and have balled against each other a ton. This is more of fans creating bullshite.

Lots of fail in this thread. When the ball was in the air I thought White had the INT. I was shocked when Speedy made that play. I re watched it and still thought White was in excellent position, Speedy just made a great play.

I still don't like him.

Why do we make such villains of players that go out of state? Some kids just want to get away. We have players like J. Adams and plenty of other great ones from other states.

I think he would definitely help our return game, I don't think LF is the guy to return kick-offs.

No we aren't. You're changing your comment now. You said Speedy was an OBJ/Jarvis TYPE of WR which couldn't be further from the freaking truth.

Some assclown banned a friend if mine for talking about his OBVIOUS character issues when he was a recruit.
It was SO obvious he was fricking his relative over and LSU. Then he was tweeting more low character shite.

Speedy is slow cooking in a loser gumbo. That place is going to shite.

Good for him! He deserves every second of it. He made a decent catch that our db simply mistimed his jump. He was in speedys jock, nothing special on speedys part

Quinn has dropped a lot of balls and looks average at best. We ok at the receiver postions, QB is our problem.

QB looks a lot better when "a lot of balls" aren't dropped by receivers.

I don't think we do all kids. Everybody here wanted Kenny Young but he left for UCLA with class and nobody has bad mouthed him that I have seen. But LC and Speedy have no class and that's why the hate.

No he made a bad desicion and a selfish one that may cost him money later on? Even if he only had one big year here at LSU it would be so good that he would be a first rounder later on when our QBs do develop. That gameplan was the best all year and I see them adding to that for the bowl game and next year. BH better work his butt off for LSUs own good and himself!!! It's all up to him, the coaches can't make the boy grow up and do the things he needs to be successful next year. I think LSU needs to go up north and find a pro style QB that can move also. But we need a guy that knows and runs this style offense in high school. He doesn't have to be this big time guy. Actually I think our instate guy is perfect but he's 2 years away from even being here, so we need to go find a guy to either walk on and is mature or a JC guy. But LSU needs someone to reassure that position and create good competition. Go Tigers!!
