I bet even he knows that he wasn't good enough this year and may not be the future but he's handled the situation with class. He has also given us his 100% despite the boos and beratement by the brainless contingent of our fanbase. He has also accepted responsibility for our remedial passing game though I really don't think it was all his fault.

I'm proud of the kid. I hope we continue to recruit high character guys like him.

Me too. He's handled a lot of bull shite with a lot of class IMO. He does his best, and that's all we can ask.

I don't know a single person who has anything personal against the young man. He does what he can. That said, he has no business being a starting QB at a major Division 1 program like LSU.

Agree.

I always tell people: I really like the guy, he's just not a great quarterback.

Hopefully he gets better. If not, hopefully Harris does.

I agree with the OP.

Jennings quote, "The problems with the passing game is really more me than anybody else."

Shouldering responsibility. Puts in the work week after week. Strange that it doesn't translate, but he does have good character.

Agreed. I'm on his side. He gives it his best shot every play. And he man's up in the post game interviews. I'm proud to say he's a Tiger.

From everything I heard, he works his arse off day in and day out.

I really hope he can turn it around.

I think that this is what is so frustrating about his performance. We keep hearing about what a hard worker he is, and I don't doubt it, but it just doesn't translate into improvement on the field. He's still struggling to read defenses, stares down his receivers, and can't seem to master the ability to throw short/intermediate passes. If he has really reached his ceiling talent-wise, then the coaches will have to decide if they are willing to go into next season with a QB who is extremely limited in ability or do they open up the QB competition in earnest in spring practice.

For all of the comparisons between him and Jefferson, his attitude couldn't possibly be more dissimilar. And in a good way.

I hope that he can be a Jarret Lee type who takes time, but gradually grows into a competent QB. He would make a great experienced backup with that attitude.

This is not about who you would rather you dipshit. This is about a young man acting better than 3/4 of the stupid asses on this board.

Maybe you stupid fricks can take some pointers from the young man.
