Sure, but he still can't pass reliably.

The new play set suited him well. I feel better about him than I did before kickoff that's for sure.

I agree. Jennings did show some small signs of improvement. Some of his incompletions were due to timing; that is an area that Cam can improve on.

He looked better and the offensive game plan fit his style of play better. But still don't see him as our future QB. I would need to see more consistency before my confidence in him moves in a more positive direction.

No. Jennings is not the answer, and we all know this.

But I do feel much better about the team as a whole. They could've easily given up on the season, but they showed a lot of fight. Defense, O-line, RBs - all, for the most part, young - show a lot of promise. The future is bright.

We just need a QB. Either an AJ transformation or BH making his way to the top of the depth chart.

He's clearly improving; it's just that he only has the potential to be serviceable. I've long been of the opinion hat AJ will come into his own next season, and he'll give us good - not great - college quarterbacking. I've seen steady improvement in AJ all year long. As the coaches have asked more and more of him he has seemed underwater all year. But he's executing a lot more of the offense and showing signs of surfacing.

It would sure be nice if we had a stud at that position, though. I'm hoping Harris gets his act together, but if he doesn't, I'm confident in AJ.

Outside of some nice runs it was really terrible play when you step back and look at it.
3 turnovers for goodness sakes. Harris throws a long interception at the end against KY and gets trolled in public by his head coach ........

How anyone could actually REgress during the season is amazing to me. JUCO would do him good as he's not ready for prime time.

No. I was still hoping that BH would get in the game last night and will still be hoping that he plays in the bowl game.

I feel some optimism that IF BH doesn't develop, or if he gets hurt, then AJ can come in against one of the worst defenses in college football and score 2 TDs.

I really do mean that. I did the whole worst D in college football to temper my expectations.

No.

Here's the issue that disturbs LSU fans including me. The only thing AJ now has over BH is experience. EXPERIENCE that Les gave him instead of Brandon Harris.

We will never ever know how good Brandon Harris could have been since he didn't get the chance to develop this year. I couldn't help but think that on some of those read option runs that Brandon would have gone all the way with his speed, but AJ got run down.

The pic was Dural's fault, but the wide open receivers he missed and the sacks he took holding on to the ball were 100% HIS fault and I'm not happy about it.

If you say BH will get some snaps, give him some. Les played JJ and Jarrett when they were equally inexperienced, why not do it again now for a change of pace to get the defense off balance. I don't know why. None of us do.
