ETA: Admins edit Rantard to ranter in subject titles????

They hate Miles so much that they bash him for kicking a FG with 12 seconds left when he was trying to prevent a sack or INT by Jennings, a player these mouth breathers ridicule as the worst QB in LSU history.

Damn it Less, let our horrible QB take a shot!!! You're so stupid!! Ugh, I don't pay you $5 million a year for that shite!!

The mental acrobatics and illogical double talk required to maintain their constant level of vitriol and hatred of someone they make their minds up about is quite remarkable actually.

Well done Rantards!!!

NO way should AJ have been on the field with 12 seconds left. It was a disaster waiting to happen. Miles knew it and took the points - rightfully so too ......

I used to wonder how joe pa had such an almost fanatical following at penn state, even in the midst of the rape scandal. I didn't understand how the cult of personality was so strong that his fans could not see how keeping him around was harming the university.

However, there is a group of les miles fans that are very similar in their fanaticism for a man above all else, and maybe you, OP are one.

To prevent some simple minded warping of my analogy, I'll expressly state that I'm comparing certain segments of two fan bases here. I am not saying that miles is like joe pa.

I just find the hoops that some of you jump through in Miles's defense.

Wait, you think the decision to kick instead of risking a sack or turnover requires jumping through hoops to defend????

Your analogy is not bad at all, but it is arse backwards, just like the thought process of that obsessive cult hell bent on tearing down Miles at every chance they invent in their simple hate fixated minds.

There is no cult of personality regarding Miles in Baton Rouge.

It is a cult of irrationality, and it started the night he wore the Madonna headset and blew a big lead to Tennessee in 2005.

They dug their heels in that night and have searched for any opportunity to wave their I told you so flags ever since.

Enjoy the offseason harping on how terrible this year has been in your opinion, and how we wasted so much NFL talent last year, because you will likely have to wait a couple of years to crawl outof your foxholes again once this now eexperienced crew takes the field in 2015

Why have such a QB in the game?

So you are one. Ok. I wasn't sure. I was not as familiar with you as I am with beefense, Choctaw, runningtiger and a couple of others.

Again, I do find the overtly aggressive emotional response that you all get to miles criticism strange. And it is very cult of personality like.

Uh, because he had run for over 100 yards and was leading our offense to it's best offensive night of the year?

I mean, even decent QBs can make a costly mistake in the red zone at the end of a half.

Or was Hugh Freeze a moron for even having Bo Wallace in the game against LSU and Arkansas??

So you disagree with the decision to kick the FG?

And what exactly was "overtly aggressive emotional" about my post?

You don't find the constant Miles bashers (I have no idea if you are one or not), to be the far more emotional in this??

They are almost purely driven by emotion actually. That's pretty clear to anyone that isn't blinded by that same irrational hatred.

Just take a look at the Score Board during a game. It is filled with purely emotional outbursts that those posters refuse to step bsck and reevaluate once the game is over.

Just look at the "gay" responses in this thread. Clearly made by rational and analytical minds right?
