CLM's was not "trolling Harris", give me a fricking break. "Banned based on one start"? I am going to assume then that he's sparkled in practice & the hrs & hrs of eyeballing him at practice & watching film shows him to be the best, yet, CLM is not playing him because he's stubborn. But to the point: If I am not mistaken, this same scenerio came up 2 other times this yr, down to only having 12 seconds left. Was it not in the Aubbie game, right before half, where this was screwed up & we did not get the kick off? You take the gift points & receive the kick next half.

Then he needs to shut his focking mouth up in the press about playing Harris. SOB did it again at halftime last night. Then turns around again after a game and says he forgot to play him. AJ is a turnover machine and inept in the passing game. If that is the future for the next 2 years, get ready for more 3 and 4 loss seasons.

As far as the kick, we had no choice after wasting time outs. You are correct. No way should we gamble in that situation. You have to take the points.

No timeouts. Not confident in Jennings.

Take the 3 and get the ball after half.

That possession was a gift. Don't get greedy.

Smart call.

Somebody gets it. It's not that hard to understand. Nobody on here has confidence in AJ but so many's disdain for Miles causes them to ignore that just to get another jab in at the coach. It's ridiculous around here sometimes.

He doesn't trust Jennings. It's just that simple.

Do you actually think Miles gives a shite about "tons of people ragging" to make a personnel change? Are you so delusional you think you have that kind of power?

Not only are they so delusional as to believe this, some of them think that Miles is leaving in Jennings specifically to spite them. Like, Miles is logging onto the rant and saying to himself "Wait a minute, LSUdude69 called me a dumbass! I'll show that guy - I'll lose some games on purpose!"

LSU won.

It seems impossible for some to enjoy a win without finding something to piss and and moan bout.

Those points A&M handed to us required them to score a TD to us rather thAn them playing at the end for a FG. I was rather pleased they had to score 6 and not just 3.

Bottom line to me is that you take the points at that time in the game and be happy to have then, but each to our own.

Has anybody ever seen a bad snap in a shotgun formation?

Has anybody ever seen a bad exchange if the quarterback is under center? Has anybody ever seen a guard step on the quarterback's foot and trip him?

Has anybody ever seen a sack?

Notice how Jennings almost got sacked before the last field goal..could have easily thrown it away but took an unnecessary risk

Yep. Jesse Palmer even called it. Said it shows a lack of complete trust in your QB.

But Jennings gives us the best chance to win, right Miles?

If we would've lost, this post would've gotten 95% up votes...that's how it works around here.

I hear what people are saying, but if you're afraid your QB is going to get sacked, why even throw it on 1st and goal at the 9-yard-line like we did? If we would've gotten sacked on that play, the half would have been over just as easy. We also could have thrown a pick on that play as well. Kicking the FG with 12 seconds left is not exactly playing with killer instinct and aTm came pretty close to making LSU pay for it.

didn't read the thread but after all the ways we have been fricked in the past in these situations I was actually pretty glad just to kick the field goal. You never can truly count on the time officials to get it right anyway.

Because there was enough time to get back to the line and spike it. Is this a serious question?

has anyone ever seen the game time officials with any consistency in these situations? Even if you do all the things you stated above correctly and just throw it out the back of the end zone, whats to say the game time officials aren't slow to stop the play clock? You can't rely on them getting that right either. Kicking it was the smart play!

Well, if this guy is gonna be the starter next season and you have no faith him. Then it'll be more of the same shite next season. They have to get this guy going passing wise and that is not gonna happen in a run dominant offense. If you have no faith in this kid then frickin start playin Harris. Should have played tonite.

You can definitely get a guy going passing wise in a run dominant offense, they just have to be able to make the plays. Running placation a lot should be a young QBs best friend.

I'm not going to nitpick that one. I think going for it has backfired on us this year once, so no big deal.
