A former teammate said this about Robert Griffin's recent struggles:

'He's short-arming the ball,' Cooley said. 'He has bad technique, he's not setting his feet right … He has the yips. He does have the yips, where the ball's just not coming out of your hand right, so now you've aborted all technique, because you don't have a feel for the ball coming out of your hand, and you're getting this shot-put throw action. You're aiming. He has the yips. He does. He just does.'

This seems to describe Anthony Jennings. Look at last year's Arkansas game - he came in with nothing to lose and made good sound throws with authority. Same thing in the Wisconsin game. On the back end of the season it appears he is mimicking Robert Griffin.

And the Heisman Trophy winner has been benched. Perform or sit.

No...

Yips is whn someone good struggles or short arms the ball or misses an easy putt.

Jennings doesn't have the yips, he's just a really bad QB.

One accurate throw does not make a QB.
