Probably It Makes No Difference, Helpless and Ophelia.

My favorite live track from The Band might have to be Don't Do It (Rock of Ages)

Further on up the road (claptons strap breaks and robbie picks up the solo without missing a beat)

"Genetic Method"/"Chest Fever (the organ intro)

Up on cripple creek (sets the whole night off)

The ones where that country guy sang. The rest of those guys were pretentious canadians.

If anybody is in the Tulsa Area this Sunday (god help ya), but my buddy is putting on this fundraiser for Woody Gutherie Center.

At Cain's Ballroom, there will be a showing of The Last Waltz with the thanksgiving trimmings and all. Should be a good time.

I told him that I thought it would be a good idea to get local acts to play all the songs, but he didn't agree.

Leftover Last Waltz

I love this doc, and my top three are:
The Weight (Mavis Staple can sign man)
The Night They Drove (goosebumps from Levon)
It Makes No Difference (saddest song ever recorded)

Caravan
Forever Young

The Band demonstrated their steadiness as musicians, and the performances with those other legends were entertaining as you would want.

You mean legendary drummer, singer and actor, Levon Helm?
