The last semester of my senior year, the two classes i had after lunch were band and guitar, both taught by the band director. Knowing that he was gone at festival with the 3rd band, i had a friend sign my name in both classes and i walked to my car at lunch and drove off. Not believing my success, i had no idea what to do with myself. I ended up grabbing some food at Canes and driving home only to find my dad sitting at the kitchen counter! He had only worked a half day and got home early. I just lied to him and said we had an early dismissal today and he just said ok and went back to reading his paper. I was so nervous, i think i just went in my room and took a nap, haha.

I was clueless. No game, no fake id, strict parents who knew everyone. Another example of my inept genius:
One of my friends from band had this class where they basically just practiced a bunch during first period. Since it was after state festival, we asked the band directors if we could have a birthday party for her during that time. They agreed, but most of us had real classes during that time (i had spanish, a couple of us had algebra or geometry, ect).
So, we decided to test the clipboard principle, that no one questions the authority of someone carrying a clipboard. The birthday girl went around to our classes and told our teachers that we needed to bring our bags and come to the office. One teacher resisted, but the rest complied.
We had soda, cake, ice cream, brownies, and i brought my nintendo wii with mario kart, so we spent the rest of first period playing mario kart on the projector screen. Good times. Man...i had no game. The birthday girl is now a volleyball player at uno.
