Wasn't expecting it. Was on a date in high school and I just started tearing up . She looked over at me and I just blurted out PUSSY in the manliest voice I could muster. I blew it.

Jake Gyllenhaal's conversation with his dad in Source Code almost made me straight up bawl.

Ole Yeller is just now making it? Wow. Used to be that would be first.

Saw an old movie once, Back Street, with John Gavin and Susan Hayward. Ending scene does it for me when the kids show up at her front door and say they don't have any parents anymore as they are dead. Ugh.

The end of About Time when he goes back to see his dad for the last time. Killed me before all my dad's health issues started.

Now that he has a decent chance of having ALS.....it gets me just typing it.

Sean Penn, twice...
(SPOILERS)

"Sam I Am" or whatever the name of that movie is where he's retarded and trying to raise his kid. Terribly sad when they take the kid away.
And then in "Mystic River" when he sees the body of his murdered daughter.

Upham wasn't the only guy who choked in SPR. After Ryan refuses to leave and the Rangers decide to stay, during the climatic battle at the bridge, Ryan was in a fetal position crying as the Rangers died at "The Alamo".

Undoubtedly, his performance under stress contributed to the life long mind frick put on him by the dying CPT Miller to "Earn it."

All of Schindler's List. Great movie, but I have no desire to see it again.

Another really sad movie. I can't exactly remember which part was the worst for me.

UP - the scenes near the beginning that show Carl Fredricksen and his wife growing older with her eventually dying.

I watched that a few days ago with my daughter. At 7, she's old enough to understand that it's sad, but I don't think it hits kids like it does adults. Maybe 'cause we're closer to "the end" or maybe because despite their happiness, it seems Carl has regrets over how their life turned out?

How to Train Your Dragon 2 (SPOILERS for those of you who may not have seen it!!!!)

--the viking funeral. OMG, everyone in the theater was bawling. I just bought the DVD as a Christmas present for the kids and I kind of dread seeing that part again.

That and when the Muslim girl talks back to her dad about Jesus being her Lord and Savior in God's Not Dead.

For some reason this reminded me of The Kingdom at the end when that Arab guy had to go tell his partner's kid his dad died. Not an unwatchable moment, but sad nonetheless.

So many sad scenes. Some here need to see Brian Song if they want to see sad. Most suggested here are sad though.

List too long. I am a fricking pussy when it comes to "good story" movies.

People getting things they dreamed of or worked hard for gets me.
