Not so long ago, a bunch of mostly 50+ y/o white people engaged in possibly the most peaceful movement-related demonstrations ever under the Tea Party were labeled as dangerous and insane by the media.

Assholes burning down their city, looting in mass and engaged in mass mayhem are labeled as "understandably upset" and are pretty much excused by the media.

This, lib posters, is exhibit 1 as to why your media is so full of shite it would take a tanker truck enema to get them right.

Tea party protest against government spending is racist. AA's burning down their neighborhood, looting, and rioting in the spirit of racism is understood.

Job one of he media for the Tea Party was to find one crazy a-hole and say "See! See!"

The crazy a-hole of this round of Ferguson is the step dad and the media is saying he is excused because he was upset.

I wonder if they would have made excuses for a Tea Party demonstrator back in 2009 that yelled to burn buildings?

Do you fricksticks on the left not think we notice all of this?

*ETA: it may end up "Victimhood Privilege"

Oh Look!. There are people rioting and burning down businesses. The Tea Party isn't that bad.

I don't think the Tea Party is bad at all, despite many people's claims that it is, and I'm not even a supporter since it was coopted by the religious.

The statement in the OP is entirely true, but the same thing was done with the Occupy movement when compared to the Tea Party also.

Outside of Fox News, the Tea Party was painted as a racist, violent group. Occupy and these riots are excused.

It is quite humorous.

You are so simple you make Karl Childers look like Stephen Hawking if you cannot see how pathetic it has been watching mayhem excused while the same media portrayed a bunch of conservative blue hairs like a clear and present danger.

You are so lost.

I feel sorry for you.

I hope one day you can clear the fog from your eyes.

You know it's purely political when people abandon rational thought and objectivity to defend something.

I lean left on a lot of things but these protests are laughable. Anyone justifying protests is completely ignorant of the facts, and in doing so the protesters are indirectly supporting and promoting the very behavior that got Brown shot.

Yeah my in laws are big Republicans and I'm in for a long day. Since I travel a good bit I always bring the wine so when I get asked where I got it I'm going to say a liquor store in Ferguson.

Totally impressive. The cops have been killing and beating tea party members for decades and yet they remain committed to non-violence. Everytime yall protest, the cops show up in riot gear and start beating you - yet you remain non-violent!

How do you do it?
