If a Rand Paul is ever elected, he will then be "essentially a moderate" as well, simply by nature of what he will actually be able to enact.

Stopped reading right there because I know if this is what he started off with, anything that follows has to be nothing more than a giant, steaming pile of horseshite.

If you you believe any of that whole-heartedly, I'm seriously worried about. Keep flying that racial flag though!

You know what you think when you see someone post a Pat Buchanan article? I'm guessing that's close to what I'm thinking when I see someone posted a Coates article.

These two comments are pure bs. BO would never claim to be a moderate. And, iirc he was raised in a white society by his mother and grandparents. He only 'decided' to be black after he went to college and saw it was politically advantageous for him to do so.

Plus, Big Scrub TX = Rex part II. Quit reading after second paragraph.

Thanks for the racist comment and continuing the racist mindset in all that read your writings.

That was not a racist comment, so just stop. It was the truth. The author wrote as if BO was raised in a black community. He was not. Geez!

If it is intended to portray a segment of society hating another it is promoting racism and division.

Don't know where you got that out of my post. I was just pointing out that the author of the article was building his theme off of mistruth's about BO, thus I saw it (his article) as bunk. Had nothing to do with promoting hate or division. My apologies that you misinterpreted my post. In any case, I truly hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!!

So...extortion and threats work?

And Obama is a moderate? That was really funny.

This part, I can agree with.

After all, there is a reason we've been stocking up on guns and ammo.

I think you're an interesting guy, Big Scrub, but I think you are in the process of literally letting past injustices from days long ago eat you alive. It's never again going to be like it was 50 years ago, man. I hope some you respect will be able to make you see that one day.

The sobering reality of Ferguson is that, even when a white law enforce officer does absolutely nothing wrong, a significant percentage of Americans are STILL going to pretend that he committed a crime.

This "Little boy who cried wolf" syndrome is not going to work for long. In fact, I think it may have already worn out its welcome with most people.

That being said, Happy Thanksgiving

PS - A moderate President wouldn't allow a race-baiting scumbag like Al Sharpton to visit the White House......81 TIMES.

Obama care is a gift to the insurance industry which was originally created by Romney and the Insurance wing of the party.

He is and always has been owned by Goldman Sachs and is as big a pawn of Wall street as Bush the lesser. He is also BP's bitch. How you can be owned by Wall street and such bastards like BP and still be a socialist communist is beyond me.

WHAT precisely is the truth he's bringing?

Racism did not magically end 50 years ago.

Racism (in the form of concrete policies) devastated black wealth creation while handing same wealth creation to whites.

Blacks were virtually intentionally excluded from social security in its earlier years.

Blacks were intentionally excluded from the american dream of home ownership.

Blacks were intentionally excluded from educational opportunities.

Black bodies were treated as sources of plunder for 3+ centuries, enriching white america in the process.

The drug war is nothing more than a de facto continuation of previous centuries of black subjugation.

White privilege exists (even in the absence of individual malice).

etc. etc.

If you admit the truth of these truths, then you also have to admit the truth of the effects of these truths.

I agree that Wilson probably did nothing wrong. I've said several times that this is the wrong case to attach the movement to. BUT...many people are simply fed up with the militarized police state overall, which disproportionately hones in on blacks.

The police did not used to be like this. They were intentionally militarized, starting in the early 1980's. It's happened so gradually that we all have barely noticed.

Although it disproportionately affects blacks, we ALL should be concerned as citizens by the shocking overreach of the executive branch.
