Sleeping Tiger's e-persona was a thing of genius. Most of it was made up. I chuckle sometimes thinking about it when his name is posted here. And other times I hope he's ok.

You're an idiot. While Obama has you focused on his bigotry, Russia is taking over Europe, ISIS is about to become a state, and Israel is on it's own. Obama is the biggest terrorist the world has ever seen. Shame on you who voted for him.

Meh - this is the writer's truth - sort of a classic liberal's wishful thinking. BHO is a very far left - I'll just say it, he's a Marxist-lite.

I really don't see how you can honestly say this. He populated his administration with the most insider-of-insiders from the financial world - total obeisance to Wall Street. His administration vigorously prosecuted the drug war. etc. etc. I'd say he's center left big government guy...instead of, say, Mitt Romney - center right big government guy.

quote:

He's a radical because does not see a wonderful country with minor flaws

Perhaps the flaws aren't so minor from the perspective of a black guy born in the early 60's?

quote:

And before you say anything, this is about far, far more than the color of BHO's skin. He has as many, or more, radical influences from his white family, and white mentors/influences as he does black ones. If he were more MLK, Lincoln and the last version of Malcolm X, and less Saul Alinsky and Frank Marshall Davis - we would be a whole, whole lot better off.

The piece really was only nominally about Obama. It's more about the racial blindness of America. Not color-blindness. Blindness to its history and it's current effects.

I'm sure you think he's a centrist too but you can't produce much reason as to that. I've noticed this was never really said until the past few years when people started realizing he was a complete frick up and he went from the dream child of the democratic liberal wing to their greatest mistake. Only then did he start being called a moderate.

It's like liberals realized how fricking sunk they were putting everything they had behind this unfit clown that they started playing the junior high card trying to put some blame on the other side by calling him a centrist.

You're pathetic. You made your bed. I bet soon you'll start saying he's actually a republican conservative.

Big Scrub, I asked you to tell us what these "hard truths" in the article you linked are.

Again, what are they?

Big Scrub, you're bringing too much truth to this board, and as Colonel Jessup would say, "these folks can't handle the truth."

WHAT precisely is the truth he's bringing?

Since he won't tell me, perhaps you will.

Go.

Although your previous posts have outed you as a race baiter and a disciple of victimization, linking an article like that just further displays how warped your thinking is. I don't see how anybody can take that article seriously, and as a result how anybody can take you seriously. It's so full of blatant hypocrisies, half-truths, and extreme biased assumptions that it is almost unreadable.

Is the author implying that sharing his own childish, myopic view of this nation is a requirement to "be black"?

The fact is that when the president came to the podium on Monday night there actually was very little he could say. His mildest admonitions of racism had only earned him trouble. If the American public cannot stomach the idea that arresting a Harvard professor for breaking into his own home is "stupid," then there is virtually nothing worthwhile that Barack Obama can say about Michael Brown.

That paragraph right there shows that Ta-Nehisi Coates is either a liar, is woefully ignorant, or just doesn't give a shite about the truth.

Gates was not arrested for breaking into his own home. The total disregard for the truth that Coates displays by writing that sentence shows his biased agenda pretty damn clearly.

Bluntly put, you and everyone who shares your opinion want to excuse the actions that are occurring all the while presenting no solutions.

Your opinion on the matter pits decades of slavery against centuries of excuses going forward.

At some point, regardless of history, people need to be held accountable for their actions. Slavery and racism of the past give absolutely ZERO reason or excuse for black minorities to behave in the way they are behaving.

Solution: Stop coddling these minorities on the basis of conjured up guilt. Stop insulting their intelligence by race baiting, bogus racial propaganda and firing up some imaginary "culture" or "community" with racist insinuations about anyone who isn't a person of color.

The only white people responsible for what is happening now are liberal democrats who insist on widening government dependence, increasing the welfare state and quite simply put, enslaving minorities via government programs.

You (along with all the other far left liberals) are a fool, whose mind and opinion are driven and controlled by "tugging heart string" emotions. There is no logic to your argument, thought process or opinion.

Racism will end when people stop treating others like "minorities". Stop feeling sorry for them. Stop coddling them. Stop telling them they need a crutch. Just stop. Their race is more than capable of achieving just as much as the next guy. They don't need a handout. They need respect just like you and I need respect.

And with that, comes the tough love of being put in your place and being called out on your shite. People need to call the rioters of Ferguson (and nationwide) out on their actions. Period.

As if his behavior reflects his "earnest" intentions.

His actions have been constrained by the separation of powers, the conservatism of the US population, and the internal power structures within his own party. Look at his rhetoric, particularly from his author/Senator/candidate days.

Please drop the "moderate" silliness. It will only derail the very slight possibility of any potential real discussion.

He is essentially a moderate. He has liberal leanings but does almost nothing with them. I always laugh about this socialist shite. It truly shows that most American have the intellect of a cabbage and can me made to believe anything.

Obama care is a gift to the insurance industry which was originally created by Romney and the Insurance wing of the party.

He is and always has been owned by Goldman Sachs and is as big a pawn of Wall street as Bush the lesser. He is also BP's bitch. How you can be owned by Wall street and such bastards like BP and still be a socialist communist is beyond me. Read more watch Fox entertainment news less.
