I'll start with:

LSU Baseball

Being in the SEC West - always a great game on the horizon.

Tiger Stadium - absolute best venue for football.

We started ole miss's decline.
Best team they've had in 50 years and LSU ruins their shite.
Again.

You obviously don't know a glass is half empty when you see it.

Amen!

I'd say being in the SEC, as only the Pac-10, Big-12, or ACC, are remotely close in terms of across the board quality, with at least one or two natty title powers in the Big Three Mens Sports.

Things you are thankful for as an LSU fan?

-15 straight winning seasons in football (and counting)
-7 SEC football championships during my lifetime
-3 trips to the football NC game in my lifetime
-2 wins in the football NC game in my lifetime
-Tiger Stadium's greatness
-Football season tickets that I unfortunately don't get to use much, but still have access to when I need them
-the 1971 Notre Dame game when I sat with my favorite and now-departed aunt (who hated ND) and learned the rules of football from her at the age of 7 during one of the legendary games in Death Valley (Rule #1: you do NOT feel sorry for the other team, you tell them to GO TO HELL!!!!)
-the 1972 Ole Miss game, when Bert Jones ripped out their hearts and I made an adult Ole Miss fan cry by implementing Rule #1 learned from the aforementioned aunt after asking for and getting express permission from my dad
-the 1979 USC game, when we made Notre Dame Stadium seem like Romper Room
-the 1988 Auburn game, when I got to watch with my then-high school brother for his first time in the student section and we moved the earth
-the countless amazing games of the last 15 years that gave thrills some of us never dreamed we'd enjoy as LSU fans
-an overall historical body of work in football that puts us among the top schools in the country, so we never have to take a back seat to anyone when touting our team vs. whoever the person we're talking to roots for
-3 final four appearances in basketball in my lifetime
-15 straight years of postseason play in basketball during the Dale Brown era
-Two years of getting to watch Chris Jackson (aka Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf) in person as a student and the almost routine surreal experiences watching him absolutely mesmerize the PMAC with the things he could do
-Shaquille O'Neal. Enough said.
-watching the entire process of growing from an unknown program to one of the historical elites in college baseball under Skip Bertman
-Warren Morris!
-the 2000 baseball national championship game, "we're in Omaha, but it sounds like Baton Rouge!"
-a gazillion national championships in track, especially women's track
-winning the SEC all-sports trophy a few times before it got retired to Gainesville in the 80's
-colorful coaches like Dale Brown and Les Miles who have left nary a dull moment
-a passionate fan base that will bitch about literally anything including itself, intimidate and rattle the very brains of opponents during the games, then explode with orgasmic pleasure when the Tigers prevail
-the most bad-arse live mascot in all of sports (even the current one who won't go to the games)
-uncountable hours of fun tailgating for games, watching games, discussing the teams, fantasizing about future games, following recruiting and all the other things that go along with being a fan

Well, I guess that's about all I can come up with off the top of my head.

I'm thankful we're in the middle of the greatest run of success in our football program's history - and I mean sustained success, year over year, despite our current woes.

I'm thankful for all of our players, coaches and staff, and wish them all and my fellow tiger fans a Happy Thanksgiving.
