400 is the magic number when it comes to thread count. You start going above that, they're going to be two-ply and start trapping in more heat. It's physically impossible to fit more than 400 threads on the loom.

I've heard something similar.

Was not a fan of the bamboo sheets. Found they pilled very easily after a few washes and stain easy as well.

Looking for a new pair as well. Not a fan of t-shirt sheets. Will probably go satin.

Bamboo sheets are some epic shite. They are so cool to the touch. Add that in with a quality mattress and some silk pillowcases, and it's motherfricking heaven.

Sheex
They're kind of pricy but really worth it. They aren't cotton. They're kind of and Under Armour type material. The bitches love em.

This. I bought these two years ago along with the sheex down comforter. They are fantastic and the pillow cases seem like you always have your head on the "cool side". They sell them at bed bath and beyond if you want to go feel them.

This

This by far is the most comfy and long lasting "cheap" sheets on the market. Pretty much always dominates value reviews. You have to be a true OT baller that can spend big money on sheets to beat them.

I have no idea what they're made of, but my girlfriend bought some of these and they're fantastic.

I'm looking into these from your link. Do they get hot? I saw a review saying they were bad if you used a comforter on top. Otherwise, seems like great reviews and the price isn't bad.

Whatever the Ritz uses.

Not sure what thread count is, but it's Frette Italian linen. It's like dying and going to heaven.

I wanted to reply earlier, but I had to ask my wife what kinda new sheets we had.

After 27 years of marriage, and a buncha damn sheets, these are the best ones I recall. I literally consciously like them every night (after about 3 months of them.)

Pottery Barn, and they look expensive, but I don't think I've ever shopped for sheets, so I really don't know.
