When you're installing sheetrock, does the paper face in or out?

If you're asking this question, you're in for a lot of fun.

I drywalled for 3 years. Seriously, if you're asking this question, you may want to consider hiring someone to do the work for you.

I can't imagine how bad you'll frick up the taping, floating of the joints, mudding corners, and ceiling texture.

Drywall mudding and texture is a true art that takes time to learn.

You shut your mouth....this is a total DIW job.

Just PLEASE take pics and videos if possible.

Easy peazy.

And, it doesn't matter which way it faces, just pop it on up there.

Seriously, drywall is really easy. That's why you can hire people in the Home Depot parking lot to do it.

Don't feel bad that you don't know how to do poor people work.

You right about that. I did nothing but drywall for an entire year once. Come December. I was a floating summbitch.

Why would I brag about a trailer?
No, I've never done any drywall work, like you said. That's what Joses and Juans are for.

Most people don't understand the need for different sized knives and the art of where and how much pressure you put on the knife when floating a joint or mudding a corner.

Plus, they don't understand what consistency the mud needs to be when taping corners and joints compared to the mud consistency needed for floating joints. Totally different.

And then texturing...

All I can say to this guy is, "Good luck, bro!"

Like someone else said, please take photos and video.
