that's just a coincidence, but they were switched on in the day, and another detail that separates them from the subjects in this thread is that they actually had talent, Ronstadt had one of the GOAT voices and Nicks, while having a good rock and roll voice herself, wrote some of the greatest rock/pop tunes ever

I like the story of how the classic Fleetwood Mac came together. Mick was looking for a new guitar player. He heard somebody playing something in a studio in California, IIRC. Taylor writes her own songs. Carrie's voice isn't 100% technologically assisted. I would say that, relative to their peers in the "music" *cough* imageiseverything *cough* industry, they're talented.
Taylor could have made a living writing songs in the 70s, IMHO, assuming it isn't all just B$ and she actually does compose the music and lyrics. Underwood could have been a backup singer for Skynyrd or Grand Funk, back in the day.
Talent is relative - in today's world, they're at the top of the talent pool, sadly.

T Swift looks 1,000x better without the stupid poodle hair, but I don't know if it's the squinty eyes, pale skin, or I'm just ghey, but I'm not that into her. I think Underwood blows her away. But they are both evidence of what Hollywood makeup/trainers can do for you.
