Local news said the cops blocked off traffic so no one would get hurt. It was all symbolic - albeit quite annoying to the motorists. Apparently they moved off the interstate once the pictures were snapped and TV cameras got their shots.

Yeah I seen it on tv. All good, oilfield won't let me have a freebie even if it was still blocked. I would have to be the one to start running over them. Says so right there in the employee handbook.
