I only caught a few episodes, but is that Jenna girl supposed to be likable? I saw an episode where she was a total b**** to her mother for getting into a college that had rejected her and couldn't figure out if the audience was supposed to like her or not

I watch it sometimes. Jenna's kinda hot, therefore likeable. All high school girls are bitchy.

I love this show! I don't even remember how/why I started watching it, but it's a regular show for me. I think MOST of the women on the show are hot. It's fun to watch, I feel, because it does a good job of keeping me up with the times.
Jenna is an on-again off-again likable character. One season, she is a total count. But she depicts a girl that got shite on her whole life, and had a break through by hooking up with the cool guy at school, who decided to make her a part of his social circle. From then on, she struggles with who she is.
The episode you're referring to was her venting, because she was having a hard time getting in to college, and her mom always try's to steal Jenna's thunder. Her mom, obviously, can't let go of the past because she had Jenna while she was still in High School. Her dad, somehow, went to college and had a normal life, and has a good job (doesn't say what he does for a living, I don't think)
Anyway... in summation.... lots of cleavage.

I've seen the first two seasons. It is ok. I never really had an urge to keep going past the second season.

I have watched it unfortunately, damn being bored and access to Amazon Prime garbage.
She starts off likeable, but then they just ram her character into the ground and she is an awful human being.

I'm current on the show. Jenna is meh at this point. The only one truly worth banging is Lyssa.

She starts out (as the show title indicates) awkward and, therefore, relatable (I guess that's close to likable?). However, she goes through the high school popularity song and dance and becomes a raging, pretentious angsty "writer" bitch before leveling out to be just an incorrigible bitchy high school senior. Nobody on that show is likeable, really.
ETA: Eva was the best looking member of the cast until she took a hard left into batshitville.
