this is rather fricked up. I happened to like Coach Crutchfield. he is a friend of mine. I take offense to this weak attempt to troll a good man. I hope you got your laugh for today because this obviously is not funny

Why was he fired? Last time I heard Aug was having a good year? I'm out of the high school loop now.

Like they're gonna let something like common sense and reason get in the way of shitting on a guy.

Don't know the man, but Karma is a bitch. All those Class A coaches that he ran the score up on are not feeling bad about this.

Not really sure what St. Aug's expectations are at this point...The school is in financial trouble, enrollment is down, talent is going elsewhere...St. Aug has bigger problems than Crutchfield...

Today, a friend of mine said he was applying. He's the O-line coach at Cedar Hill, TX, McMillan and Lodge's school. He's a St Aug legend, having played on a SC team, was an All American at OU and played for the Saints.
Big pip, Louis Oubre.

How did they do this season? I did not hear as much about them as usual.

I thought with Stanley Morgan and LF's younger brother, they would have at least two solid athletes with quite a bit of experience that should at least help them be competitive.

4-6. Morgan and Fournette were hurt off and on. Somehow they beat Curtis but they were bad especially in district.

I personally only saw them play once this year vs Holy Cross, and they were dominated 38-20...and this HC team was the weakest its been in the last five years or so. Not sure how they beat Curtis, but in the Catholic league they gave up 41 vs BM, 35 v Shaw, 38 vs HC, 34 and 42 vs Jesuit...I guess without LF and the rushing attack they couldn't control the clock?

He is a piece of shite. He demeans the kids, didn't care about the program, and thought he could coach everything. Why do u think he had a new staff every year. That cover zero bullshite doesn't work in 5a. That junior high scheme on offense only worked when you had superior talent. He can go back to 1a or some small parish where he belongs.

I know people who knew him from South Plaq who didn't have the highest regards for him. Also know some St. Aug alum close to the program who didn't care much for him either.
