Why can't we all be as progressive as this Georgetown student who was mugged recently? Imagine the racial harmony if we all followed his example.
I was mugged and understand why

Racism on both sides is as bad as I've ever seen at 33 y/o over the last few years. Poor leadership in black communities and poor leaders in congress and White House doesn't help either. This country needs a reset button.

I can understand the reason behind the act and still condemn the act. I can see all the steps that led to a person becoming "white trash" or a "thug" and lament choices that were made or situations that were forced upon a person, but that doesn't change the reality of what is in front of me.
