Going today for the 1st time. Thinking about getting the "rocket shrimp" jalapeño burger. Any other "can't miss" items I need to try?

Rocket shrimp poboy, crab cakes, bisque, boudin balls. Dam I miss that place. One of BRs most underrated restaurants.

Jasmine's trio is a good app if you want to taste a few different things. I always get the Chicken Orleans

Went a few days ago for the first time. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. Had the app trio (crawfish beignets, boudin balls, and rocket shrimp) and the roast beef debris poboy... all was great. The lady had crab and corn bisque and really liked it.

I went the other day and got half rocket poboy and crab and corn bisque.

I thought the bisque was decent, but I thought the poboy was extremely boring. They warn you on the menu the rocket sauce is hot, but it was extremely pedestrian and not much flavor. The bread and dressings were fresh and good though. The fries were crinkle cut and pretty terrible. Overall I left very disappointed based on the praise its recieved here.

I thought the shrimp were good, but not "to die for" like some people had told me. I'm glad that I ordered the appetizer size rather than the entire poboy. I can also see how people who don't like mayonnaise wouldn't like them. I also agree on the fries -- boring. My only other gripe was the crawfish beignets; they tasted good but I didn't see any crawfish. The bread pudding was good but not as amazing as some people had described. Still, I really liked the place and will return.
