How y'all doing so far this year?
II think I'm gonna take the season off in cBB. I said this last season and I then I got started into it anyway, and once I get started I get immersed in the stuff, and next thing you know I'm doing way too much research on the 4,693 teams that make up CBB.
Sitting this one out. Except maybe a bet here or there for kicks.
CBB is a winnable sport; it just takes a ton of work to stay on top of it.
I've never much bet nBA.

Yeah, I'm normally anti-tailing, but that's because I like the whole process of handicapping games. But if I'm not gonna do that anyway, I guess I can borrow a pick or two.

Fwiw, my proprietary "glance at the lines and take teams that I recognize from last season as being pretty good" system is currently 8-3.
I'm not thinking there's gonna be sustainability with the approach.

I'm not hating here. Mad biggie ups to dude who is 47-27. But this early in the season in CBB, there's just no way a heavy streak of luck hasn't contributed more than a little to that record.
I've always found that the first two weeks of CBB are just a bit random and haphazard. There are certainly soft lines in there, but if this dude has tossed down 74 plays already, it ain't like he's being terribly selective.
But, again, biggie ups to dude. Maybe he just knows CBB inside and out.
